I’ve been teaching herbal workshops and programs since 2015, helping everyday people learn how to make simple, effective remedies from home.
I love breaking herbalism down in a way that feels doable, supportive, and empowering — especially for beginners.

Kaitlyn grew up on the central coast, and currently resides in Santa Barbara County. She has been cooking for the last 17 years professionally, and has been studying herbal medicine the last 4 years. This class will let those two worlds collide and provide you with a great basic herbal simple syrup recipe for drinks, desserts and more, as well as giving you the basics of making sugar free glycerine extracts.

Abby Artemisia
A botanically trained herbalist and forager with over two decades of experience teaching plant identification, ethical wildcrafting, and herbal preparation across the country. Her work blends scientific training with hands-on, land-based wisdom, offering students practical skills they can apply in their daily lives. Dedicated to providing nature and herbal education through an antiracist, inclusive lens, helping people reconnect with the land, their communities, and themselves.

Amy Boldt
With a background in foraging and a Master’s in Therapeutic Herbalism, she blends clinical herbal practice with her experience as an herb farmer and educator. She specializes in sleep, anxiety, and digestive support, teaches at community colleges and herb schools, and is completing her Registered Herbalist application. Her work focuses on helping people reconnect with natural rhythms and cultivate balance through plant-based healing.

An herbalist rooted in Oak View, CA, whose work blends wild, holistic wellness with a deep belief in nature as a healer and teacher. With experience in both the food world and herbalist communities, her studies alongside respected herbalists and mycologists inform her thoughtful approach to formulation. As the master formulator behind Sea Soil Sky, she crafts herb and mushroom preparations that prioritize effectiveness, enjoyment, balance, and safety.

Clinical Herbalist
Emily Watson
A clinically trained herbalist, nutritionist, and educator with more than 15 years in the field, she integrates herbal medicine, bodywork, and vitalist philosophy to support deep personal and community healing. After experiencing burnout early in her career, her focus shifted toward sustainable practice and self-care. She now teaches herbalism through a grounded, holistic lens while helping budding herbalists develop the practical and entrepreneurial skills needed to build balanced, thriving practices.
