Instructor
For as long as she can remember, Nicole has loved to go outside and get her hands dirty. As a little girl, she'd play in woods and the cornfields surrounding her house, making "magic potions" out of all the plants and flowers she could find.
As an adult, she started studying the art and science of herbal medicine in 2018. She chose to further her herbal education with Artemisia Academy and now serves as the school's Apothecary Manager and as an Herb Walk Instructor. In addition to her work with herbs, Nicole is an ordained Reverend in the American Baptist tradition and pastors a local church.

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for complete beginners who have never studied plants before, as well aspiring herbalists and holistic practitioners that have already had a fundamental overview herbal training but would like to deepen their knowledge of anatomy and herbs. No experience is necessary to take this class, however, many students that have previously taken yoga, massage, or other type of alternative medicine courses also get so much out of this course!
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
What do I need?
An herb kit will be shipped out 2 weeks before class with most of the herbs needed for class. However bulk oil, beeswax, alcohol, sugar and honey will need to be purchased to make the remedies alongside us in class. We have no required books for this class, but we do have a few books for reference that we recommend for future learning. A book & supply list will be sent out upon registration with complete details on what you will need to get ready for class.
For online learning, you will also need a computer with streaming video and recording capability, a pair of headphone, the zoom app downloaded on your device, and your enthusiasm to show up and learn!
What if I miss the live class?
Anyone who registers for the class will be given access to the online class portal. All class recordings will be available to watch anytime. Class notes and hand outs will also be posted online, so no matter what, you won’t miss anything!
If you work during the day, and still want the live support and coaching from a teacher, don’t worry! We have an online chat so you can still ask questions and get feedback throughout the entire course.
